World Symposium on Choral Music Copenhagen July 19 - 26th, 2008 - with GA of Choral Festival Network

Welcome from all over the world to Denmark where The 8th World Symposium on Choral Music (WSCM 8) is going to take place from July 19 - 26 2008. Choral Music meets its audience is the title of this symposium, and indeed it is going to take place in the beautiful city of Copenhagen, where we are going to show new ways to connect to our listeners in a world with greater possibilities and challenges than ever. And of course, you will listen to some of the world's finest choirs, take part in exiting, interactive workshops and Master Classes and meet musical friends from all over the world. The main venue will be our fine new Opera House at the harbor front, but the Symposium will also take you to the famous Tivoli Garden and a number of our beautiful old churches in the city of Copenhagen. The General Assembly of CHORAL FESTIVAL NETWORK will take place on Monday, July 21st, 2008 at 1:30 pm at Copenhagen opera house, library room 3rd floor!
